MEDICAL LOAN CLOSET

As of our last Soroptimist meeting, we can tear up the rental contract IOU for 2005. With the donations turned in last week, the Medical Loan Closet is in the black so we've paid the rent!

The nine members of this committee have worked 365 days a year to make this happen; I am extremely grateful for all the time they have devoted to their weeks on call. The people that they have helped have obviously been impressed with their devotion to duty. We are now $253.00 over our $1500.00!! We still have 21/2 months left in this Soroptimist year so we can now think about putting up some shelves and buying replacements tips for canes and walkers.

We have so many donated deluxe cruisers that I parked three of them in my garage this weekend. Special thanks to Jack Rinker for his offer to help with the transfer of equipment. My heartfelt appreciation to the committee members: Sally Sue Barry, Kate Creasey, Heidi Ennes, Louella Hanson, Jane Manzer, Peg Rinker, Sherry Schubert and Sharon Vera.

You all make this community a better place to live.
